Role Overview:

This role involves designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI-powered products, intelligent agents, and agentic workflows. The successful candidate will utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, tool-calling patterns, and context-aware workflows. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing advanced agentic systems with planning, reasoning loops, memory management, grounding, evaluation frameworks, safety mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop controls. The position also entails leading the transition of AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production, establishing best practices for reliability, observability, performance, security, governance, and cost optimization, and developing scalable AI applications using modern AI frameworks and SDKs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Management to elaborate features, stories, and test strategy for each initiative
• Create technical design and assign work to developers
• Develop complex stories in C and write unit tests in C++ (Google Test)
• Be a human quality gate by leading code and design reviews
• Collaborate with other Principals and Leads to define interfaces and interactions between systems
• Advise on implementation strategy for successful deployment
• Implement development process improvements and automation
• Coach and develop junior employees
• Deliver department and external presentations

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with Google Test framework
• Ability to solve complex challenges
• Experience setting technical direction for a team and mentoring junior engineers
• Experience in automation (CI/CD)
• Developed software for Linux operating systems
• Experience working on an Agile team
• Experience with embedded or real-time distributed systems
• Passion for quality and engineering standards

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills:

• C++
• Unix / Linux Basics and Commands
