Description

You will manage the migration, debugging, and enhancement of complex software applications, focusing on transitioning legacy C/C++ and Perl codebases to Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing applications from C/C++ and Perl to Python.
• Port script-based debug tools to next-generation simulation and emulation validation models.
• Update C/C++, Python, and Perl interface and control libraries to support new architectures.
• Develop Python and Perl test scripts to exercise simulation and emulation platforms.
• Collaborate with the bring-up team to debug and support emulation platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing applications utilizing C.
• 8+ years of experience developing or modifying C/C++ software to address bugs and new capabilities.
• 8+ years of experience developing drivers or firmware.
• 8+ years of recent experience with Perl (v 5.2 – 5.38) and Python (v 3.6-3.12) for maintenance and enhancement.
• Recent experience (within last 2 years) supporting architectural migrations of software containers using Kubernetes.
• Recent experience (within last 2 years) developing, maintaining, and enhancing software scripts.
• Recent experience (within last 2 years) developing and debugging software interfaces with external systems.
• 10+ years of experience working for US companies in the US.
