Description

You will manage software migration, debugging, and development tasks across multiple languages and architectures in New York, NY.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing applications from C/C++ and Perl to Python.
• Debug and enhance existing C/C++, Perl, and Python applications.
• Port script-based debug processes to a next-generation simulation and emulation validation model.
• Update interface and control libraries to support new hardware architectures.
• Develop and maintain software scripts and interfaces for external systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing applications using C.
• 8+ years of experience developing or modifying C/C++ software.
• 8+ years of experience developing drivers or firmware.
• 8+ years of recent experience with Perl (v 5.2 – 5.38).
• Recent experience with Python (v 3.6 - 3.12).
• Recent experience supporting architectural migration of software containers using Kubernetes.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing software scripts.
• Experience debugging software interfaces and functionality with external systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with orchestration engines and containerized environments.
