Description

Manage the build-out, administration, and support of DB2 LUW databases for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer database build-outs, capacity planning, cluster setup, and performance tuning.
• Configure and maintain database security while using automation to streamline environment management.
• Perform problem diagnosis, resolution, and participate in multi-discipline triage for enterprise-wide incidents.
• Troubleshoot ETL processes for data warehouses and decision support stores.
• Participate in a 24x7 production on-call rotation to resolve production issues and user concerns.

Required Skills

• Valid IBM DBA/DB2 LUW certification.
• Extensive experience with DB2 LUW versions 9.7 and 10.5.
• Extensive experience with HADR and Q-Replication.
• 8+ years of professional experience working in the US.
• 4+ years of recent experience within Banking or Brokerage environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
