Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and support of complex Cisco networking solutions.

On-site in Bennington, VT, USA.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy advanced Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of Cisco implementation projects from architecture through to deployment and support.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex network issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for clients, translating technical concepts into tailored business solutions.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including network diagrams and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking solutions and architecture.
• Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale Cisco project deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving infrastructure challenges.
• Willingness to travel to Vermont for client meetings and project deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
