Description

Own the design, deployment, and optimization of Active Directory and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and user authentication.
• Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, focusing on provisioning, application delivery, and user profile management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving Citrix NetScaler, application delivery, and Active Directory components.
• Implement security measures, access controls, and authentication protocols to protect Citrix and Active Directory environments.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and system monitoring to ensure environment availability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Active Directory and Citrix Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including XenDesktop and Citrix StoreFront.
• Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Citrix NetScaler/ADC for load balancing and SSL offloading.
• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) licensing.
• Experience with Windows File Sharing, including NTFS permissions and DFS Namespace.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
