Description

You will manage a portfolio of motor and third-party claims, assessing merits and settling cases within delegated authority limits.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of cases to meet performance measures and targets.
• Assess claim merits and settle cases in accordance with policy cover and legal liability.
• Contact customers, suppliers, and establishments to collect information for liability and quantum decisions.
• Negotiate settlements with third-party insurers and customers to achieve fair outcomes.
• Coordinate the provision of hire vehicles and monitor engineer reports and payments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience handling motor and third-party claims.
• Demonstrable competence in Personal Injury processes and claims handling techniques.
• Knowledge of MOJ Portal, OICI, and Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
• Understanding of common law and legislation governing motor insurance.
• Ability to assess injury and damage quantum.
• Proficiency with MOJ and OICI processes.
• Strong negotiation skills for liability and settlement discussions.
• Basic understanding of human anatomy.
• IT literacy and strong organizational skills.

• Experience working within a commercial environment.
