Description

You will design, build, and operate scalable microservices and micro-applications within an Agile environment. You own the full lifecycle from architecture translation to deployment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage microservices supporting highly available, scalable architectures.
• Define common frameworks and software libraries across multiple programming languages.
• Translate system architecture and product requirements into well-designed, tested software solutions.
• Troubleshoot quality, performance, and security issues in running systems.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to other software developers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on cloud-based systems.
• 2-3 years of professional experience with Clojure.
• Strong Java development skills, preferably version 1.8.
• Hands-on experience with AWS: EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and Fargate.
• Experience developing microservices and complex microservice-based platform architectures.
• Knowledge of distributed network architectures, network security, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with both relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• 3+ years of experience working in teams using modern Agile software development practices.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, JavaScript (NodeJS), or Golang.
• Understanding of CI/CD, network clusters, and distributed networks.
