Description

Architect and implement secure, scalable, and ethical AI solutions to modernize public sector operations. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement IT architecture, AWS cloud implementations, and advanced AI/ML solutions across State Agencies.
• Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, frameworks, and tools for solution design.
• Design secure and compliant AI/ML solutions leveraging public cloud or hybrid environments.
• Communicate technical direction and support multiple teams and projects.
• Mentor other architects on best practices for cloud and AI implementation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years in enterprise, full-life cycle architecture.
• 5-8 years of hands-on technical application architecture experience, including application build and modernization.
• Extensive experience architecting applications for AWS environments.
• Experience evaluating architectural alternatives for private, public, and hybrid cloud models (IaaS, PaaS).
• Proven experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and ethical AI/ML solutions.
• Strong technical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI, and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with public sector security and compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent work experience.
