Description

You will design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures and lead the technical direction for complex application ecosystems in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of modular, scalable cloud architectures using AWS.
• Architect and develop Java-based microservices and modular systems.
• Oversee UI development using React or Angular to ensure seamless backend integration.
• Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch.
• Direct internal teams and vendors through design and code reviews to maintain architectural standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT software architecture and development.
• Extensive expertise in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with React or Angular UI frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools, specifically AWS CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Prepare network and firewall flows and coordinate with AWS Cloud Managed Services.
