Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure AWS architectures and modular Java-based microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AWS architectures and implement infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Architect Java-based microservices and oversee UI development using React or Angular.
• Design and manage databases including PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Direct internal teams and vendors through design and code reviews to ensure architectural standards.
• Manage cloud monitoring and performance optimization using AWS CloudWatch.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT software architecture and development.
• Extensive expertise in AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience building Java-based microservices.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
