Description

You will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure AWS cloud architectures and modular Java-based microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures and modular Java microservices.
• Prepare network and firewall flows and coordinate with AWS Cloud Managed Services teams.
• Oversee UI development using React or Angular to ensure seamless backend integration.
• Manage PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch databases for optimal performance and scalability.
• Automate resource provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT software architecture and development.
• Extensive expertise in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong background in Java-based microservices and modular system design.
• Proficiency with React or Angular for UI development.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting.
• Linux/Unix systems administration, including configuration and scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Puppet, Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with software modularization and modernization strategies.
