Description

You will design, implement, and manage cloud-based business solutions and infrastructure architecture for state program initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable software application architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design and manage AWS Cloud architecture focusing on performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Own end-to-end solution delivery, including gathering requirements, designing, testing, and releasing Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Modernize existing architecture and core technologies while providing technical documentation and vendor reviews.

Required Skills

• Minimum 12 years of experience developing IT application architecture solutions.
• Expertise in Core Java/J2EE (concurrency, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate) and Python.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with messaging frameworks such as Kafka, JMS, MQ, and Active MQ.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database development and data modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting services.
• Experience with BMC Control-M.
