Description

You will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS-based cloud architectures, ensuring solutions are modular and follow best practices.
• Architect and develop Java-based microservices and modular systems.
• Prepare network and firewall flows and coordinate with AWS Cloud Managed Services teams.
• Oversee UI development in React or Angular to ensure seamless backend integration.
• Manage databases using PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch for optimal performance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate resource provisioning.
• Direct and mentor internal teams and vendors through design and code reviews.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT software architecture and development.
• Expertise in AWS cloud environments.
• Extensive experience with Java microservices.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting.
• Linux/Unix systems administration, including configuration and scripting.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
