Description

You will design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS, leading Java-based microservices and UI integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular AWS-based cloud architectures following best practices.
• Architect and develop Java-based microservices and modular systems.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Prepare network and firewall flows and coordinate with AWS Cloud Managed Services teams.
• Direct and mentor internal teams and vendors through design and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT software architecture and development.
• Expertise in AWS cloud environments and AWS CloudWatch.
• Extensive experience with Java microservices.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
