Description

You will build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using Python, Angular, or React.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Python and frontend interfaces with Angular or React in TypeScript.
• Build and deploy container-based applications utilizing REST APIs.
• Model business processes using AWS Step Functions.
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform to automate deployments.
• Perform remediation, unit testing, and lead technical efforts in database management and cloud security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud application development.
• Proficiency in Python for backend service development.
• Experience with Angular or React in TypeScript for frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Expertise in AWS storage (S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB) and archiving.
• Deep understanding of networking, Application Load Balancers, and API Gateways.
• Experience implementing security via Okta or Cognito and enforcing least privilege access.
• Proficiency with AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail for logging and auditing in regulated environments.
• Experience with deployment automation, scripting, and command line tools like PowerShell or Bash.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS GovCloud environments.
• Implementation of AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
