Description

You will design and implement scalable, resilient cloud architectures to drive AWS adoption and solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies to transition workloads to AWS.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on multi-cloud and AWS migration scenarios.
• Review existing system architectures to identify refactoring and cloud platforming opportunities.
• Advise stakeholders on architectural decisions to optimize applications for cost and performance.
• Serve as a technical expert to guide customers through complex commercial and technical challenges.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in enterprise full-lifecycle architecture.
• 5-8 years of hands-on technical application architecture and modernization experience.
• Extensive experience architecting, designing, and programming applications within AWS environments.
• Deep knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud models.
• Experience designing highly available systems using load balancing and horizontal scalability.
• Proficiency with AWS, Public Cloud, and technical application architecture.
• Strong diagnostic skills for problem investigation and architectural analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with GCP, OCI, or Azure.
• Background in state and local government environments.
