Description

You will define cloud architecture standards and lead application modernization efforts primarily on Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application and integration architecture standards, including reusable patterns for microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Design modernization paths for legacy applications using rehost, replatform, refactor, or retire strategies.
• Build Azure landing zone components, cloud governance configurations, and hybrid cloud integrations with AWS and GCP.
• Perform architecture-led portfolio assessments using TIME or 6R frameworks to identify consolidation and migration opportunities.
• Create Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi and support CI/CD pipeline architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and application modernization.
• Deep expertise with Azure services including AKS, Functions, APIM, and PaaS.
• Proficiency in AWS and GCP for hybrid cloud integration scenarios.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or Pulumi.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud security best practices (IAM, RBAC, network security).
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ITIL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow APM/CMDB for application inventory and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization using Azure Advisor and FinOps guidelines.
