Description

Lead the full software development lifecycle for cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda in Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable serverless applications on AWS.
• Integrate and manage messaging systems including Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Implement database migrations and tune Amazon DynamoDB schemas.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects within an Agile environment.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software development experience with a strong Java background.
• Current Python expertise with 5+ years of hands-on AWS Lambda development.
• Proven ability to manage the full SDLC in cloud environments.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Amazon Q or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong experience with cloud messaging systems, preferably Kafka.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB migration and optimization.
• Familiarity with AWS services: API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, and S3.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
