Description

You will design, build, and optimize data architectures and pipelines for cross-functional teams using Azure Cloud technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manage large, complex data sets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Design and implement infrastructure process improvements, focusing on scalability and optimized data delivery.
• Build efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) infrastructure using Azure Cloud services.
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture while ensuring high data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs and interpret data trends for analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse, and Dedicated Data Warehouse pools.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design and advanced SQL query authoring.
• Experience building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines and large data sets.
• Technical expertise in data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
