Description

Design, deploy, and operate a production-grade data platform on AWS and Azure, supporting enterprise-scale analytics and Snowflake workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS) and Azure components (SQL MI, Networking) for data ingestion and processing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision cloud resources, networking, and security configurations.
• Deploy and maintain Snowflake environments, managing data loading, performance tuning, and nightly ETL pipelines.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts in Python to ensure reliable data integration with external APIs.
• Own production reliability, including incident resolution, monitoring (CloudWatch), logging, and cost-optimization strategies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and data platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and security groups.
• Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Managed Instance, VNets, Private Endpoints, and NSGs.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Snowflake data integration, ingestion, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud architectures integrating AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of API integration patterns and enterprise-scale production environments.
