Description

You will manage and optimize enterprise-level database systems across cloud and on-premise environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise databases.
• Administer, monitor, and tune databases for performance, availability, and scalability.
• Manage backup, recovery, data migration, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement data replication and ETL processes using tools like IBM CDC.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application integration.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on database administration experience in enterprise-level environments.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016) and Oracle.
• Experience with Cloud databases including Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Oracle Cloud.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and IBM Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Deep understanding of database architecture, replication, partitioning, and clustering.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and data integrity issues.
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
• Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional.
• Relevant Cloud DB certifications (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud).
