Description

We're seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead cloud migration and modernization for a federal civilian agency. You'll architect secure, scalable AWS environments and drive the move from legacy infrastructure to a modern, compliant cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure AWS architectures aligned to FedRAMP and agency standards
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Lead migration of legacy workloads to the cloud
• Partner with security teams to maintain continuous compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and document architecture decisions

Requirements

• 7+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering, 3+ with AWS
• Hands-on Terraform, IaC, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or federal cloud environments
• Active or eligible for Secret clearance
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps) preferred
