Description

Lead engineering efforts for a scrum team, architecting and developing scalable server-side software for high-volume transactional web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frameworks for web-based applications to improve performance and reliability.
• Architect service-oriented solutions that integrate with complex databases and third-party components.
• Build platform-level components including event architectures, messaging, and caching solutions.
• Mentor team members and collaborate on code reviews, internal tools, and process improvements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in multi-threaded server-side web application development.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform for IaC.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash.
• Database expertise with SQL, DynamoDB, and/or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Solr for search capabilities.
• Understanding of Akamai CDN services.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
