Description

You will design, configure, and support a hybrid cloud environment across Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud resources including VMs, PaaS, storage, networking components, and API Gateways.
• Script and automate routine tasks such as Security Groups and EC2 deployments using Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Develop deployment strategy plans and define structures for production and disaster recovery environments.
• Document system designs, SOPs, and technical manuals for presentation to review boards and CABs.
• Collaborate with vulnerability, architecture, and engineering teams to remediate issues and establish standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7 years in system engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud, specifically with Virtual Machines, App Service, SQL Database, and Networking.
• 3+ years of AWS Administration experience, including VPCs, EC2, Availability Zones, and Regions.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and at least one other programming language.
• Experience configuring VNETs, subnets, NSGs, ACLs, and Azure Active Directory Sync.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers, traffic manager, front door, and Azure firewall.
• Strong troubleshooting skills within hybrid compute environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry with regulatory and compliance discipline.
• Background in engineering and maintaining business-critical systems in industrial environments.
