Description

You will design, develop, and manage safe, resilient, and highly-available distributed services in the public cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native applications and distributed services.
• Write technical specifications and lead design meetings to reach stakeholder consensus.
• Create and promote cloud-native engineering patterns, guardrails, and operational practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve business problems through cloud architecture.
• Manage technical dependencies and contribute to the full platform lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Expertise with Linux, containers, and system security.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and distributed systems.
• Experience with serverless platforms like AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge of software artifact and container image lifecycle management.
• Ability to reason about performance, security, and process interactions in complex systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and hybrid cloud networking architectures.
