Description

You will design, develop, and manage services within a public cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer cloud-native applications in collaboration with business software engineering teams.
• Write technical specifications and lead design meetings to reach consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop usable, safe cloud-native engineering patterns, guardrails, and operational practices.
• Manage technical dependencies across multiple teams to solve complex business problems.
• Promote public cloud-native development best practices across the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Expertise with Linux, containerization, and system security.
• Strong automation skills using scripting languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, or Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with serverless platforms like AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Functions.
• Understanding of software artifact and container image lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
