Description

You will design and implement scalable data processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on architecture, development, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-level and low-level designs, including security architecture, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams for complex problems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Google Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage, ensuring efficient data types, tables, and views.
• Implement microservices and apply Gangs of Four design patterns, SOLID, CAP, and DRY principles to build robust systems.
• Manage infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, GKE, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
• Plan tasks, estimate effort, and execute parallel phases including infrastructure setup, development, testing, CI/CD, and production preparation.

Required Skills

• 10-16 years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java (JDK8 features, Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services: Dataflow, BigQuery, GCS, IAM, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Composer.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep understanding of database design, data types, and partitioning strategies.
• Proficiency in versioning, integration, and environment-based deployment with rollback capabilities.
• Ability to resolve technical blockers and choose optimal tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices design patterns and distributed system trade-offs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation and compliance preparations.
