Description

Manage the lifecycle, security, and scalability of Kubernetes EKS clusters and AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer multiple EKS clusters, handling patches, upgrades, and component improvements.
• Troubleshoot and triage issues involving EC2, VPC networking, DNS, and storage.
• Identify and remediate Kubernetes vulnerabilities while recommending cost-saving options.
• Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams on AWS infrastructure requests.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in a shared on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
• 2+ years administering EKS Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Hands-on AWS experience: EC2, ECS, ELB, RDS, EFS, EBS, Route53, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, S3.
• Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation (YAML/JSON).
• Experience with container platforms: EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
• Scripting in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows systems.
• Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Active involvement in the Kubernetes and AWS communities.
