Description

You will design, implement, and manage automated cloud-based database systems within an enterprise environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud databases including AWS Aurora, MongoDB Atlas, DocumentDB, Neptune, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache.
• Develop automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, backups, patching, and scaling using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Rafaay.
• Perform database performance tuning for database engines and SQL queries.
• Implement cloud database security using IAM and Managed AD.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database engineering, architecture, and production support.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Automation and AWS Cloud Engineering/operations.
• Proficiency with Python, Ansible, PowerShell, or other scripting languages like Groovy, Perl, or Ruby.
• Experience with Postgres Aurora, MongoDB, Graph DB, and Vector DB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
• Understanding of service authentication and authorization via OAuth.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
