Description

Own the design, development, and stability of enterprise cloud applications and data pipelines on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain complex ETL workflows and large-scale data processing systems.
• Lead the rollout of new cloud projects and modernize existing data models.
• Oversee production-grade workloads, ensuring maximum uptime and system stability.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, manage incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and lead cloud migration initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud or data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and application logic.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Deep understanding of ETL patterns and large-scale data lifecycle management.
• Proven track record of monitoring and maintaining high-availability cloud systems.
• Experience implementing reliability best practices and incident response protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PagerDuty and other production monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and financial services systems.
