Description

You will build and migrate APIs and native cloud services from mainframe to AWS, owning the full lifecycle from design to production operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based services from scratch using serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Build and modernize APIs, implementing data transformation processes and contributing to architectural designs.
• Guide junior engineers on technical implementation and enforce best practices.
• Support production operations by configuring monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure as code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development and engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EKS, Step Functions, S3, and Glue.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka for event-driven application design.
• Experience with NodeJS development.
• Database development using PL/SQL for Oracle.
• Experience with Terraform and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with API Gateway publishing via Apigee or WSO2.
• Proficiency with production monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Background in ETL, data modeling, and implementing data processing pipelines.
