Architect, build, and support highly available, scalable private cloud infrastructure for millions of connected devices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable private cloud infrastructure and orchestration platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop standardized OS images and deployment frameworks for bare metal and cloud instances.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead large-scale engineering projects.

Required Skills

• 7–10+ years in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Private Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale production cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with VMware, bare metal environments, and file/block storage.
• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure providers.
• Operational experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD at production scale.
• Expertise with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Ruby, or Scala.
• BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of systems and application design trade-offs.
• Experience building self-healing infrastructure and end-to-end documentation.
