Description

Architect and execute AWS-to-GCP migrations, defining target-state architectures and managing the transition.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture and migration approaches for AWS workloads on GCP.
• Analyze existing AWS resources and dependencies to map them to GCP equivalents.
• Design cross-cloud data synchronization strategies to support gradual cloud cutover.
• Build and refine migration strategies including phasing, sequencing, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Review and modify Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience with both AWS and GCP.
• Proven experience migrating workloads from AWS to GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and ML workflows.
• Ability to perform hands-on architecture design and coding.
