Description

You will architect AWS-to-GCP migration strategies, defining target-state architectures and managing the transition of workloads. You own the analysis of existing AWS resources, map dependencies to GCP, and design cross-cloud data synchronization for gradual cutover. You build migration plans including phasing, sequencing, and risk mitigation, while modifying Terraform IaC configurations and supporting real-time data streaming and ML workflows.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect AWS workloads within GCP, defining target-state architecture and migration approach.
• Analyze existing AWS resources and dependencies and map them to GCP.
• Design cross-cloud data synchronization to support gradual cloud cutover.
• Build migration strategy including phasing, sequencing, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Review and modify Terraform IaC configurations and coding capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in cloud architecture with deep expertise in both AWS and GCP.
• Proven experience migrating workloads from AWS to GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
• Experience with real-time data streaming architectures.
• Experience supporting ML workflows in cloud environments.
