Description

You will develop cloud-native security software for data paths, control planes, and infrastructure, integrating enterprise-grade features like firewalls and NGFW using VPP/DPDK.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement optimized systems code for network security using Golang and C/C++.
• Integrate open-source networking protocols and enhance security features such as IPSec, SWG, and IDS/IPS.
• Build and maintain distributed systems using Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, and message buses.
• Collaborate as an individual contributor within a multi-site team to deliver cloud-native security solutions.
• Apply deep knowledge of WAN technologies, switching, routing, and SD-WAN architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems programming with Golang, C, and C++.
• Strong background in network security, including stateful firewalls, NGFW, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with VPP, DPDK, DPI, and QoS for programmable packet pipelines.
• Solid understanding of SD-WAN architectures, IPSec, and switching/routing protocols.
• Experience with CNF/VNF development is highly valued.

Preferred Skills

• Deep knowledge of Linux Kernel internals and system programming.
• Experience with Zero Trust Firewall (ZBF) and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) implementations.
