Description

You will manage and support the provisioning and maintenance of large-scale cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and manage highly available, scalable cloud applications on AWS or Azure.
• Maintain and manage entire cloud infrastructure for Kubernetes clusters.
• Automate deployments and build end-to-end documentation to ensure system visibility and resiliency.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to develop systems focused on scalability and security.
• Implement an operations-centric approach prioritizing availability, performance, compliance, and security.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating mid to large scale cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and cloud automation tools.
• Experience managing container-based workloads and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of application monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and service reliability improvements.
• Ability to write queries and troubleshoot/tune databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Expertise with configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• High proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
