You will manage, automate, and support a scalable real-time SaaS platform on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure application setups, environments, and deployment solutions.
• Build proactive monitoring and alerting services to ensure platform stability.
• Automate resource deployment and infrastructure tasks using configuration management tools.
• Develop deployment and rollback plans, including environment-specific scripts for test and production.
• Troubleshoot complex AWS service issues, optimize web servers, and manage high-severity incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure or application operations.
• Hands-on experience managing 2-tier or 3-tier application support.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, VPC, and VPN.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, Ruby, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or Cassandra.
• OS-level knowledge of Windows or Linux environments.
• Experience with middleware and application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
• Solid understanding of networking and load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with APM tools like AppDynamics or Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of OpsGenie, Nagios, or Rundeck.
