Description

You will architect, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, ensuring high availability and performance optimization for enterprise infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 environments, including SDDC Manager lifecycle management.
• Design and implement infrastructure automation and orchestration solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripts.
• Develop API-driven workflows for VM lifecycle management, day-two operations, and integration with VMware REST APIs.
• Manage enterprise virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter), software-defined networking (VMware NSX), and storage (SAN/NAS, vSAN).
• Implement security controls, RBAC, micro-segmentation, and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical applications.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of experience in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in VMware vSphere and VCF.
• Proficiency in VMware NSX for software-defined networking and security.
• Experience with VMware Aria Suite (Automation and Operations) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, and cloud-native technologies.
• Exposure to public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• VMware Certifications (VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VCAP, or VCIX).
