Description

You will architect, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, driving infrastructure automation and platform modernization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage VCF 9 environments, ensuring high availability and performance optimization.
• Design infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and Python for VM lifecycle management.
• Implement API-driven workflows and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for day-two operations.
• Manage enterprise virtualization platforms, software-defined networking (NSX), and storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS, vSAN).
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in highly regulated environments.

Required Skills

• Enterprise-scale VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and Cloud Foundation (SDDC Manager) administration.
• VMware NSX for software-defined networking and security.
• VMware Aria Suite (Automation and Operations).
• Infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform.
• Python scripting and VMware REST APIs.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server administration.
• DNS, DHCP, IPAM, TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching.
• Git, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.
• 10+ years of virtualization and cloud infrastructure experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, or cloud-native technologies.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
