Description

You will lead the design and maintenance of secure AWS cloud architectures and security strategies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure AWS architectures using best practices for IAM, data encryption, and network security.
• Execute cloud security risk and vulnerability assessments to propose and implement mitigation strategies.
• Leverage AWS security tools (Shield, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM) to enforce policies and detect incidents.
• Develop AWS-specific incident response plans, lead investigations, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT security experience, with 10+ years securing AWS cloud infrastructures.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification.
• CISSP, CISM, or other recognized security certifications.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Expertise in AWS architecture, security services, and compliance tools.
• Experience with threat hunting, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments in AWS.
• Knowledge of containerization and serverless architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda).
