Description

You will design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures. You own the security strategy, technical guidance for engineering teams, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design secure AWS architectures with identity, access management, data encryption, and network security.
• Lead security strategy execution and provide technical guidance to engineering and DevOps teams.
• Perform cloud security risk and vulnerability assessments to propose mitigation strategies.
• Deploy and manage AWS security tools including Shield, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM.
• Develop incident response plans, lead investigations, and conduct root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in IT security.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience securing AWS cloud infrastructures.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification.
• CISSP or CISM certification.
• Expertise in AWS architecture, security services, and compliance tools (NIST, HIPAA, IRS, SSA).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of containerization and serverless architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Engineering.
