Description

Lead security engineering efforts within large-scale GCP environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for large environment buildouts, including GCP components.
• Advise technical teams and provide educated security opinions on architectural decisions.
• Manage infrastructure security using Terraform and IaC principles.
• Implement networking security measures including segmentation, load balancers, and Cloud Armor.
• Enforce Zero Trust principles across cloud-native services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of security engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in GCP environments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC).
• Experience with Cloud Run and GKE.
• Proficiency in GCP networking, load balancers, and Cloud Armor.
• Practical knowledge of network segmentation and Zero Trust architectures.
• Proven experience in enterprise-level or large company environments.
• GCP Security Engineer or GCP Cloud Architect certification.
• Strong English communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience acting as a technical security leader.
