Description

Lead public cloud initiatives and execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform issues and provide solutions for AWS Cloud build and performance.
• Design resilient, secure, and high-performing platforms in the public cloud.
• Drive the strategy to build broad use of Amazon Web Services including EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Automate routine tasks and provide primary operational support and engineering for the public cloud platform.
• Drive game days, resiliency tests, and chaos engineering exercises.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (version 8+), Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ALB, NLB, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS Fargate, S3, and Route53.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube.
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, and operational stability.
• Background in high-volume, SLA-critical applications and event-driven architectures.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Associate level certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, or Grafana.
