Description

Lead public cloud initiatives by designing, developing, and troubleshooting software solutions on AWS. You will own end-to-end platform issues, drive AWS strategy, and ensure operational stability for high-volume, SLA-critical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build resilient, secure platforms using AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Drive game days, resiliency tests, and chaos engineering exercises to improve system reliability.
• Automate routine tasks and provide primary operational support for the public cloud platform.
• Deliver system design and application development for event-driven architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (8+), Python, or Go.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, ALB, NLB, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS Fargate, S3, Route53.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Associate level certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, or Grafana.
