Description

Lead architecture functions to define technology strategy and influence technical direction for the domain.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technology strategy, current state, and target state architectures.
• Develop business capability maps, heatmaps, and value streams through stakeholder interviews.
• Partner with Solution Architects to develop high-level designs and validate detailed technical designs.
• Document key decisions, design elements, risks, and open issues to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Represent the domain in architectural governance procedures and lead design discussions during office hours.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in technology and cloud architecture.
• Expertise in AWS, Application Development, and Networking.
• Strong background in DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to lead architectural governance and design discussions.
• Experience creating business capability maps and value streams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy solutions and architecting cloud-based solutions.
• Broad experience in databases, analytics, machine learning, security, storage, serverless, and management/monitoring.
• Software development expertise including distributed applications and technical operations.
