Description

You own the infrastructure maintenance, automation, and implementation of new cloud and virtualization technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for VMware, managing, optimizing, and automating infrastructure for security and reliability.
• Implement system hardening, patch management, and compliance measures, including vulnerability management.
• Design, test, and deploy new technologies that drive cost savings and system efficiency.
• Resolve complex incidents, ensuring rapid response and implementing preventative long-term solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of VMware, including vCenter and ESX.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS environments.
• Experience managing Windows and RHEL Servers.
• Familiarity with Tanium for security operations.
• Ability to implement monitoring solutions and define alerting thresholds.
• Experience with Azure Local Stack or HCI is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies.
