Description

You will improve the reliability and availability of a large, regionally distributed SaaS platform. You own the observability, automation, and incident response processes that keep the system running.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and metrics to provide observability into application health, including SLI/SLO metrics.
• Consult with development teams on SRE best practices to improve application reliability.
• Develop automation and tooling to reduce toil and manual intervention.
• Perform data and performance analysis to identify root causes during incident and problem management.
• Review the work of other SREs and provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of programming or scripting experience using Go, Python, .NET (C#), or Node.
• 4+ years of experience in public or private cloud environments, with hands-on AWS.
• 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Observability roles.
• Experience with monitoring, automation, and dashboarding.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, Jira, and GitHub.
• Ability to work rotational shifts: 7:30 PM to 4:00 AM (IST) or 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM (IST).

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes with certification.
• Experience with Grafana, Azure, and additional DevOps tooling.
