Description

You will manage and support systems within a private cloud and highly secure service provider environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Stage and deploy Windows OS images on servers.
• Lead routine system patching and administration for Windows and Linux servers.
• Provide Level 1 technical support for security-related issues.
• Maintain the IT asset management system and serve as an Active Directory Subject Matter Expert.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of system administration experience in a Windows server environment.
• Proficiency with Windows PowerShell or other current scripting languages.
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals.
• Experience with protocols including FTP, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux.
• Competency with systems management, monitoring, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tools.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a data center or virtualization environment.
• Experience working in security-compliant environments such as PCI, SOX, HiTrust, or ISO.
