Description

You will own development, support, enhancement, and maintenance of the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination system.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex SNAP and TANF eligibility determination systems in a Linux environment.
• Create new screens and functionality to integrate with legacy systems.
• Analyze, design, and program large or complex projects on IBM Mainframe/Linux systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Mainframe CICS system architectures.
• Develop and update documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Enterprise System Programming experience in COBOL CICS utilizing ADABAS database.
• Experience with MicroFocus COBOL in an enterprise developer environment.
• Knowledge of SNAP and TANF eligibility and economic assistance policies and procedures, including federal and state mandates.
• Experience interpreting, designing, and implementing mandates in Linux systems such as MAVS.
• Experience with automated eligibility determination systems specifically SNAP and TANF Eligibility, SNAP E&T, Benefits, and Benefit Recovery.
• Proficiency in Cobol, Cics, MAVS, Snap.
• Familiarity with Jira Software and Scrum methodologies.
